Hello and welcome to my piano studio page

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic in the US, I am currently enrolling piano students to do distance learning piano lessons via Whats App, Facetime or Facebook messenger and in person lessons are available.

MASKS ARE MANDATORY for in person lessons

Monday or Tuesday mornings or early afternoon spots open. Please see calendar for booking options.

Students who are enrolled in summer lessons get first priority on my fall schedule.

Online lessons work best with new students 8 or older. Ages 4-8 need parental supervision at first until we get into our routine. Parents need to be present during their lesson at first to help them set up their devices and make sure their materials are available. You need a piano or full sized keyboard, your device, charger cable, good wifi connection and your piano books.

The Gameiro Piano Studio is an independent, trilingual piano studio (Mrs. Gameiro, NCTM speaks fluent English, Spanish, and Portuguese) working in the Benbrook/White Settlement/ River Oaks/ West Fort Worth, Texas area. Mrs. Gameiro graduated from TCU with a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Music Education in Piano Pedagogy in 2007 and 2009. She studied Piano Pedagogy (the art of teaching piano lessons) under the tutelage of Dr. Ann Gipson and took piano lessons with Mr. Harold Martina. This studio meets at Portales Drive, Fort Worth Texas 76116 (contact for more information!) Mrs. Gameiro is an active member of the Fort Worth Music Teachers Association, Music Teacher's National Association, and a Steinway Educational Partner. 

Mrs. Gameiro is an active collaboration artist who works with several colleagues here in the US and Portugal. She has made multiple recordings of their music for the first time which can be found on here and her YouTube page. Mrs. Gameiro also has performed with her piano duo partner, Jose Cubela on multiple occasions here and in Portugal. They have also performed piano trio with another good friend, Svetlana Bakushina who is a wonderful pianist and cinemetographer. 

Mrs. Gameiro is also available to play for private events and weddings as a soloist.  Any kind of music can be prepared as long as there is sheet music for it.

Mrs. Gameiro caters each piano lesson to each student's individual needs. Beginners are taught to read sheet music as they learn how to play the piano. Piano students are also taught music theory and technique from the first lesson. Mrs. Gameiro believes in using games to aid in the development of student's musical abilities in piano lessons. This studio uses various games to help each student stay fully engaged with new skills.

The goal of this piano studio is to share the love of music with any person who is willing to try and is willing to practice. All students are able to achieve their musical goals as long as they put in time and effort into their practice times. Mrs. Gameiro also teaches a variety of styles of music as long as there is sheet music readily available.

This piano studio does not force all students to participate in recitals, but it is highly encouraged to participate.

For students who do decide to play, we have bi annual studio recitals in person at Boulevard Brew in River Oaks, TX or we do video recitals.

Mrs. Gameiro performed with her piano duo partner, Jose Cubela. They play a variety of musical compositions written for one piano, four hands and have even had compositions written especially for them.

They have also performed in Portugal with a third pianist, Svetlana Bakushina. The piano trio provided rousing arrangements featuring one piano, six hands!

 Unfortunately due to circumstances we have not been able to perform since, but the memories of such a wonderful time can still be found here and on YouTube.
